Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker suffered a right groin strain Monday against the Los Angeles Lakers and will be reevaluated in one week, the team said Wednesday.

Booker injured his right groin during the first quarter of Monday's win over the Lakers and did not return. He has since been diagnosed with a strain. He will be re-evaluated in one week, taking at least three games off the table, including the NBA Cup quarterfinal matchup with Oklahoma City on December 10. Jordan Goodwin is a potential replacement in the starting lineup, but only if Grayson Allen is unavailable. Having recently missed time with a quad contusion, Allen did not play on Monday due to illness.

Booker (groin) will be re-evaluated in one week, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
