Siakam was one of six places to score between 15 and 20 points in Wednesday's victory, with four (Siakam, Myles Turner, Tyrese Haliburton, and Jarace Walker) scoring 17. Spicy P is providing 4th-round per-game value through eight games, and that's with minimal defensive production. The season is still young, and there may be another level for Siakam to reach regarding fantasy value.
After failing to record a double-double in any of his first five games, Turner's done so in two straight. He wasn't as explosive scoring-wise as in Monday's win over Dallas (30 points), but the Pacers center was effective in his role. He's ranked just inside the top 100 in per-game value, which doesn't align with Turner's ADP (45), but fantasy managers should not be too concerned.
Turner knocked down 5-of-8 3-point attempts and all five of his free throws. The big man showed excellent touch as he led the Pacers with 30 points on the night. Fantasy managers can't count on this type of production every night, but Turner can light it up when he gets hot. The Pacers play the Magic on Wednesday.
Nembhard will start after a one-game absence. With Aaron Nesmith (ankle) unavailable, Mathurin remains in the starting lineup, shifting to the small forward spot. Haliburton, Siakam, and Turner stay in their usual roles.
Jackson suffered the non-contact injury during the fourth quarter of Friday's loss to the Pelicans. He's the second Pacers big man to suffer a torn Achilles this season, with James Wiseman doing so during the opening game. This leaves Indiana severely shorthanded behind starter Myles Turner. Obi Toppin may take on some center minutes, freeing up additional opportunities for Jarace Walker at the four.
