The veteran wing was the Rockets' second-leading scorer on the evening, as he utilized the three-point line and the charity stripe, while also functioning inside the arc. He was also able to make plays for others when he wasn't focused on only making shots. And although it wasn't his best performance, even Durant's relatively mediocre games are productive and useful when it comes to fantasy basketball.

For the first time this season, Durant has recorded three consecutive 30-point games. And he kept the turnovers in check, as that category has been a minor issue for nine-cat managers recently. Over the past two weeks, Durant has been a third-round player in nine-cat, one round behind his eight-cat value. But this is picking nits; KD's fantasy value has remained excellent throughout his first season in Houston.

The Rockets trailed by a point at the start of the fourth before going on a 21-9 run in the first seven minutes of the period to seize control and win for the fifth time in six games. Tari Eason scored 11 of his 17 points in the first half and Amen Thompson finished with 14 assists and eight points.

Eason is off the injury report and back in the starting lineup for the Rockets, sending Josh Okogie back to the bench. Houston has had an up-and-down season but has won four out of its last five games. With their starting unit back intact, the Rockets will have a stronger chance of collecting another win against a banged-up Gizzlies team.
