THJ's role is to be a source of floor spacing for them, but he has struggled in recent weeks. It culminated with a full Tony Snell performance in their last game, but he was able to bounce back in this one. In fantasy hoops, THJ is only a source of 3-pointers, but he hasn't been consistent enough this year to justify a roster spot. If he gets hot, then you can stream him for a stretch, but as of now, he should be left on the waiver wire.
With Cunningham back after being a late scratch in their last game, Malik Beasley will return to playing his role as the team's sixth man. He has still been able to pour in the triples as a reserve, so this move won't have a dramatic impact on his output.
Grimes has been on a tear over the Mavs' last three games. He has been part of the starting lineup during his last five appearances and in seven of his last nine. However, over his last three, he has averaged 24.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 4.7 threes while shooting 59.5% from the floor. He was dealt from Detroit in exchange for Tim Hardaway Jr. this summer, and he has thrived in his new home. Grimes may not remain in the starting unit when Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson get healthy, but he's earned a larger role off the bench, and he'll continue to put up big numbers until they're back.
In addition to not having Cade Cunningham, the Pistons are without Tobias Harris for Wednesday's game. As a result, Thompson moves into the starting lineup and will be a solid option in fantasy lineups. He doesn't offer much value as a shooter, but the defensive stats are usually reliable.
Malik Beasley will start with Cade Cunningham out. If we've learned anything from the Pistons so far this season, it's that Beasley is firmly on the streaming radar when he's in the starting lineup. With Cunningham out, there's plenty of usage up for grabs, which helps everyone's fantasy value. Beasley should help with points and 3-pointers as well as rebounds.
