On a night when the Kings' starters underwhelmed, Raynaud enjoyed his best game as a pro. Less than a week after scoring 19 points against the Jazz, the rookie center recorded his first 20-point game in Houston. While he may not be Domantas Sabonis' replacement in the starting lineup, Raynaud has more opportunities to contribute with the veteran center sidelined. And his upside is superior to that of Drew Eubanks, who only played ten minutes on Wednesday. Raynaud isn't a must-add just yet, but he deserves a look in deep leagues.

Sacramento Kings coach Doug Christie expressed an expectation that rookie center Maxime Raynaud will get more minutes after an impressive outing.

Sabonis has a partially torn left meniscus, which has him set to be re-evaluated between Dec. 11 and 18. Drew Eubanks will start in his place for now, with rookie Maxime Raynaud filling out the reserve minutes. Neither is a reliable option, but there will certainly be opportunities. This is a tough blow for a Kings team that has started the season slowly.
