Terance Mann amassed 12 points (4-of-8 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two three-pointers in Friday's loss to the Mavericks.Mann won't bring much to the table as a scorer, but the Nets starting a rookie point guard (Egor Demin) opens the door for him to occasionally have a night like he did on Friday. The seven assists matched Mann's season-high, and fantasy managers also received solid value in steals and percentages. However, he is still ranked well outside the top-200 in eight-cat formats, so there's no need to take the plunge following Friday's performance. Demin only played 18 minutes in Dallas, finishing with three points (1-of-7 FGs), one rebound, one assist, two steals and one three-pointer.
Egor Demin, Tyrese Martin, Terance Mann, Noah Clowney and Nic Claxton will start Thursday's game against the Jazz.Mann is back after missing Brooklyn's last two games. He'll fill the void left by Michael Porter Jr., who is sitting out due to lower back injury management. The Nets' other four starters are unchanged.
Egor Demin: Not playing SaturdayDemin (foot) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Bucks, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.
Egor Demin: Nets 23 points with nine boardsDemin closed with 23 points (8-18 FG, 5-14 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 115-103 loss to Philadelphia.
Egor Demin recorded 23 points (8-of-17 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks and five three-pointers in Friday's loss to the 76ers.Demin had his best game as a Net on Friday, reaching double figures for the sixth time, with this being his first 20-point game. The rookei guard recorded a complete stat line in 30 minutes on the floor. Since replacing Ben Saraf (DNP-CD on Friday) in the starting lineup, Demin has not been productive enough to be a must-roster player in 14-team leagues. However, he is definitely worth watching in the aftermath of Friday's performance.
