Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) went through practice on Monday.Towns' status for Tuesday's game against Toronto is still up in the air, but his return to practice is a good sign. On Sunday, Mitchell Robinson started and played a season-high 25 minutes, while Ariel Hukporti filled the 23 minutes that Robinson was on the bench. Towns' return would likely push Robinson to the bench and Hukporti back out of the rotation.
According to the Orlando Magic's official X.com account, Franz Wagner suffered a lower left leg injury in the first quarter of Sunday's game against New York and won't return.Wagner went up for an alley-oop from Anthony Black and was fouled hard by Ariel Hukporti before landing awkwardly on his left leg. He will be re-evaluated when the Magic return to Orlando, so the severity of his injury is yet unknown. If he's forced to miss time, Black, Tristan da Silva and Jett Howard are all candidates for increased run. Orlando's next game will be an NBA Cup matchup with the Heat on Tuesday.
According to The Athletic's James L Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns (calf) is out for Sunday's matchup with the Magic.Towns' absence means Mitchell Robinson could move into the starting five, and Robinson will be worth streaming in this matchup. Ariel Hukporti and Guerschon Yabusele should be in line for some additional run off the bench, while Josh Hart gets a boost in the rebounding department.
Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is not on the injury report for Friday's game against the Jazz.Robinson's absence on Wednesday freed up a few minutes for Ariel Hukporti, who did not provide much value in the backup center role. With Robinson available, Hukporti may fall out of the Knicks' rotation entirely.
Mitchell Robinson (ankle) has been ruled out against the Hornets on Wednesday.Robinson will miss the second leg of New York's back-to-back, which shouldn't come as a surprise. The last time he was unavailable, Ariel Hukporti filled out 12 reserve minutes at center, where he was unproductive in fantasy hoops.
