Terrence Shannon Jr. finished Wednesday's loss to the Thunder with 18 points (7-of-7 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, one assist and three three-pointers.Shannon Jr. poured in his best performance of the season on Wednesday. He needed only 17 minutes of game action to post a season-high in points and nearly reach the 20-point mark. He made all seven of his shot attempts and all three of his three-pointers along the way, but didn't contribute much in other areas of the game. Still, Shannon Jr. had a nice outing, one that could potentially lead to more opportunities against the Celtics on Saturday.
Terrence Shannon Jr. (foot) is questionable for Monday's game against the Kings. After missing Minnesota's last nine games with a left fifth metatarsal bone bruise, Shannon has been cleared to resume full-contact activities, including 5-on-5. There's obviously no guarantee that he plays on Monday, but potentially having the second-year wing is good news for a team needing additional wing depth.
