Lonzo Ball (illness) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.Ball has missed Cleveland's last two games, freeing up additional minutes for Craig Porter Jr. and Tyrese Proctor. However, they also benefitted from the absence of Darius Garland on Monday, so even fewer minutes will be available to Porter and Proctor if Ball plays.
Sam Merrill (hand) has been ruled out against the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.This will be an eighth straight absence for Merrill, and there hasn't been much clarity as to how much longer he'll be out. Jaylon Tyson will continue to play a large role, even if he is pushed to the bench with Darius Garland back.
