Fraley filled up the box score in the Reds' victory over the Braves to start the day -- going 3-for-5 with a homer, two RBI and a stolen base -- but that wasn't enough to earn his way into the lineup against left-hander Chris Sale for the second game of the twin bill. Austin Slater will start in right field and will bat seventh as the Reds look to sweep the doubleheader on Wednesday.

It seems the Giants just really wanted Austin Slater gone, as Young was the return in that trade with the Reds a week ago. The journeyman reliever pitched two scoreless innings for Cincinnati earlier this season, and he has a 2.19 ERA in 24 2/3 innings in Triple-A.

Soto has been sent back to the minors to free up an active roster spot for newly-acquired veteran outfielder Austin Slater to join the club for Tuesday's series opener against the Rockies. The 24-year-old infielder got into one game for the Reds during a brief stint with the club.
