The outfielder is currently being examined and treated by the Pirates medical staff. The team has said that his status is day-to-day for now, so we'll look for more updates as the day goes on. Joshua Palacios will replace Reynolds in left field against the Cardinals on Wednesday with Connor Joe moving to left field and Rowdy Tellez getting a chance to start against a left-handed pitcher.

Tellez finds himself on the bench with Mets southpaw David Peterson toeing the rubber on Saturday afternoon at PNC Park. It'll be lefty-masher Connor Joe at the cold corner in his place. The 29-year-old has really turned things around the past few weeks, batting .309 (30-for-97) with six homers, 20 RBI and one steal over his last 30 games.
