Alex Verdugo

Verdugo will get a chance to show he's still a capable outfielder after a rough 2025 season that saw him slash .239/.296/.289 before being desiganted for assignment by Atlanta. He'll need to be added to the 40-man roster to join the Padres, and he'll need a big spring training for that conversation to take place.
