Congrats to him and his growing family. He will miss his start on Thursday and could return to start over the weekend. Tyler Gilbert will take his place on the roster, and Mike Vasil is set to start in his place on Thursday.

With Adrian Houser heading to the Paternity List, Gilbert will come up to start Thursday's game in his place. Gilbert has thrown 5 2/3 innings in five appearances out of the bullpen for Charlotte with a 6.35 ERA.

The move isn't official yet since Wednesday's contest was postponed due to inclement weather. Houser was set to start Thursday's contest against the Cardinals, so the White Sox will presumably either need to call up a spot starter or roll with a bullpen game during the doubleheader. Lefty Tyler Gilbert is expected to be called up to take his spot on the active roster.
