The Mets are known to be in the market for a left-handed bat to add to their lineup and they're certainly familiar with Conforto who played the first seven years of his big-league career with the Mets before joining the Giants in 2023. He's in the final year of his two-year contract, so the price to acquire him shouldn't be too high. Don't be surprised if this reunion actually comes to pass over the next few days.

As he often does, Duran made it look easy in this one, getting Michael Conforto on a swinging third strike, LaMonte Wade Jr. on a ground ball to second base and Mike Yastrzemski on a ground ball to shortstop to end it. The 26-year-old hurler now boasts a 2.93 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and a 29/10 K/BB ratio over 30 2/3 innings on the season to go along with five victories and 15 saves.

Yastrzemski got the Giants on the board in this one with a run-scoring single off of Simeon Woods-Richardson that plated Michael Conforto in the fourth inning and trimmed their deficit to one run at 2-1. With his two-hit night, the 33-year-old outfielder is now slashing .230/.304/.410 with eight homers, 31 RBI and one stolen base on the season.
