After that, Teoscar Hernandez, Tommy Edman and Muncy hit back-to-back-to-back homers to put the game away. The Dodgers almost had another homer earlier in the inning, but a Will Smith blast somehow stayed in after hitting the very top of the concrete in center, resulting in a triple. Muncy's homer was his sixth in 80 plate appearances since returning from a strained oblique last month and 15th in 62 games overall.

Hodge was fine after a couple of minutes. He nearly gave up a two-run homer to Max Muncy in the three-run game, but Pete Crow-Armstrong made a terrific jumping catch at the wall to end it.

Imanaga gave up two homers to Tommy Edman and one to Max Muncy, but they were solo shots and there was no other damage. Imanaga currently has 26 homers allowed and 25 walks for the season. Ignoring Kyle Hendricks in the 60-game 2020 season, Imanaga could become the first NL starter since Bartolo Colon in 2015 to give up more homers than walks while qualifying for the ERA title.
