Beau Brieske

Brieske was only able to throw three pitches for leaving the contest. The right-hander was unable to go Thursday because of soreness in his side, and this appears to be a continuation. It seems like Brieske will undergo imaging before determining the next steps.

It's the second time that Brieske has dealt with injuries in the Grapefruit League, as the 27-year-old was held out of Thursday's game against Baltimore because of side soreness. He was only able to throw three pitches before exiting. The 27-year-old should have an update on his status shortly.

The right-hander sustained the minor injury during pitcher's fielding practice. Tigers' skipper A.J. Hinch noted that it's not believed to be anything serious and shouldn't impact Brieske's ability to be ready in time for the start of the regular season.
