Atlanta recalled Elder from Triple-A Gwinnett ahead of his scheduled start Monday against the Marlins at Truist Park.

Atlanta Braves ace Spencer Strider underwent an MRI on Saturday, which revealed damage to the UCL in his right elbow, the team announced.He'll be evaluated by Dr. Keith Meister at a date yet to be determined."It wasn't good," Braves manager Brian Snitker said of Strider's MRI, per The Athletic's David O'Brien.Strider struggled during an outing Friday while dealing with elbow discomfort. He allowed five runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and three walks across four innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks.The 25-year-old's velocity was down from his first outing of the season.
