The ScoreReport: Padres to land Frazier from Pirates

The San Diego Padres are acquiring second baseman/outfielder Adam Frazier from the Pittsburgh Pirates, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.The Pirates will receive shortstop Tucupita Marcano, outfielder Jack Suwinski, and right-hander Michell Miliano in exchange for Frazier, a source told ESPN's Kiley McDaniel. While the trade isn't yet official, Pittsburgh pulled Frazier from Sunday's game against the San Francisco Giants.Frazier is batting .324/.388/.448 across 97 games this season and leads the majors with 125 hits. The 29-year-old will add extra depth to a Padres lineup that features a stacked infield with Jake Cronenworth at his customary second base and an outfield consisting of Trent Grisham, Tommy Pham, and Wil Myers. The acquisition won't be a rental, either, as Frazier has one more year of control before being eligible for free agency following the 2022 season. The Chicago White Sox were also linked to Frazier in the lead up to next Friday's deadline.Copyright © 2021 Score Media Ventures Inc. TheRotoFeedFanDuel: Manny Man

Manny Machado ($3,600) is tearing it up with six homers and three steals in the last month while batting .350. He's in a spot to drive in lots of runs batting cleanup against Erick Fedde, who has a 4.59 ERA for the Nats. Machado is best used as part of a stack, and there are affordable bats like Tommy Pham ($2,800), Trent Grisham ($3,400), and Jake Cronenworth ($2,800) surrounding him. The Padres can easily be the highest-scoring team tonight, making them an enticing tournament play. New to FanDuel? Scared of feeling like a small fish in a big pond?
