James Outman was optioned back to Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move on Sunday. Heyward faced live pitching over the past two days without any issues, and the Dodgers were confident enough in what they saw that they brought him right back without needing a minor league rehab assignment. He'll start in right field and bat seventh against Kutter Crawford and the Red Sox on Sunday evening.

He's arbitration-eligible through the 2026 campaign.Kopech has authored a 5.05 ERA with 56 strikeouts over 41 appearances in 2024. The 28-year-old right-hander is under team control through 2025.
