Detroit Tigers right-hander Michael Pineda was forced to leave Saturday's start against the Baltimore Orioles after getting hit in the hand by a comebacker off the bat of Ramon Urias to lead off the second inning.Tigers manager A.J. Hinch said postgame that Pineda suffered a broken right middle finger, according to MLB.com's Jason Beck. He'll reportedly see a specialist to determine the next steps and land on the injured list.Urias wound up grounding out on the play as second baseman Jonathan Schoop fielded the ricochet off Pineda and threw to first baseman Spencer Torkelson.Training staff and Tigers manager A.J. Hinch eventually came out and removed Pineda from the game. Right-hander Wily Peralta took over on the mound.Pineda retired all four batters he faced to start the contest.Entering Saturday, the 33-year-old had been solid for Detroit over four starts.
