Langeliers went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Monday's 5-4 win over the Mariners.
Gilbert piled up the punch outs in a tasty matchup against the free-falling Athletics, finishing just shy of his second double-digit strikeout performance of the season. However, he got burned by some hard contact in the third inning as Shea Langeliers followed a run-scoring double by teammate Brent Rooker with a three-run moonshot to left field. He finished with 16 swinging strikes, including 10 on his slider alone, and finished with a 28 percent CSW. The 27-year-old fantasy ace will carry a strong 3.19 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 181/32 K/BB ratio across 177 2/3 innings (28 starts) into a road tilt on Saturday against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
Have a night, Shea. The 26-year-old slugging backstop connected for a three-run homer off Mariners starter Logan Gilbert in the third inning before tucking a game-winning blast just inside the left-field foul pole off Seattle reliever Austin Voth in the ninth inning to send the Oakland faithful home with a memorable walk-off win. It was his second multi-homer performance of the season and first time he's accomplished the feat since a three-homer explosion back on April 9.
Shea Langeliers collected his first walkoff hit for the Oakland Athletics, his second homer of the day against the Seattle Mariners.
