Bleday had an RBI groundout in the third inning and an RBI single in the fifth inning. He's hitting .243 with a .766 OPS and 60 RBI on the year.

The Athletics announced that Ruiz will completed his post-surgical rehabilitation this offseason, which suggests the surgery won't impact his availability for the 2025 season. Ruiz seemed to fall out of favor with the Athletics this season prior to his injury. With the emergence of JJ Bleday and Lawrence Butler, Ruiz will have to play his way back into the A's plans in 2025.
