Eovaldi tossed a clean first inning, then gave up a run on two base hits in the second. Luis Robert Jr. took him deep for a solo homer in the third. Eovaldi settled in nicely over four more scoreless frames, striking out ten batters on the day with no walks. The 34-year-old right-hander will take an excellent 3.31 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and a 104/26 K/BB ratio across 106 innings into a start against the Cardinals in St. Louis on Monday.
