Weathers has been out since early June recovering from a left index finger sprain and likely won't be ready to return until at least early September, even in a best-case scenario considering it'll take him several weeks to build up his pitch count and stamina prior to returning. The 24-year-old lefty was in the midst of a full-scale breakthrough campaign prior to the injury and remains without an official return timetable at the moment.
