NBC SportsMax Kepler delivered a game-winning RBI single on Wednesday, lifting the Twins to a 5-4 walk-off victory over the Phillies.

Kepler came through in the final frame with a ground ball back up the middle off Phillies lefty reliever Gregory Soto to bring home Trevor Larnach from third base and send the Minnesota faithful home in walk-off fashion. He finished 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI in this one and is really starting to heat up over the last couple weeks, batting .358 (19-for-53) with seven RBI over his last 15 contests.

NBC SportsMax Kepler went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, a walk and an RBI against the Phillies on Monday.

This is a power outage for a player that hit 24 home runs and slugged .484 last year. Kepler is hitting .260 with a .709 OPS, six home runs and 33 RBI on the season.

NBC SportsTrevor Megill allowed two hits and two earned runs before securing his 19th save of the season on Sunday against the Twins. He also struck out a batter.

Megill was greeted rudely by Byron Buxton who hit a home run to start the ninth inning. Then, Max Kepler doubled and some doubt crept in before Megill retired the next three batters. It's been a fantastic season for Megill as the Brewers' closer, but Devin Williams has been rehabbing at AAA and will be back soon to assume that role.

NBC SportsFreddy Peralta didn't give up a run over six innings in his start against the Brewers on Saturday, but didn't factor into the decision.

Peralta gave up singles to Max Kepler and Eduard Julien and that was it. The right-hander issued eight strikeouts against two walks while throwing 62-of-102 pitches for strikes. The 28-year-old was outstanding in his first start after the break and improved his K/Bb to 138/38 and lowered his ERA to 3.88, but his bullpen couldn't hold a 1-0 lead. He has a tasty matchup lined up next weekend against the Marlins.

NBC SportsMax Kepler and Byron Buxton are out of the lineup Wednesday for the first game of the doubleheader against the White Sox.

It looks like the Twins want everyone to get a start today, so Manuel Margot is in the lineup for the first time since last Thursday. This is the first time all season that Kepler has been out of the lineup against a righty for non-injury reasons.
