The Atlanta Braves signed veteran catcher Jonathan Lucroy to a minor-league contract, sources told Ken Rosenthal and David O'Brien of The Athletic.Lucroy is expected to report to Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday, according to O'Brien.He'll provide additional catching depth to a Braves team depleted behind the plate. Starting catcher Travis d'Arnaud and regular backup Alex Jackson are both on the injured list, while veteran Tyler Flowers, who was attempting a comeback with the Braves, retired on Friday.
