Mark Vientos said he's already back hitting and jogging one week after being placed on the IL with a hamstring strain.

The strain looked bad when it happened, but it turned out to be quite a bit milder than expected, and it's starting to sound like Vientos might be back next week. Meanwhile, Ronny Mauricio is getting more of Vientos's at-bats and is hoping to prove indispensable by the time Vientos is ready to return.
