That doesn t look good right now. I would say that s still off in the distance for sure, " Campbell stated when asked for a possible timetable on Williams' return.
Lions coach Dan Campbell said Williams' return from a brain injury is 'off in the distance for sure'
The Lions are hopeful they could get LT Taylor Decker and WR Tyrell Williams back for Week 6
Tyrell Williams, Detroit Lions' projected No. 1 WR, has not played since taking a helmet-to-helmet hit Week 1. Quintez Cephus joins him on sideline.
Lions WR Quintez Cephus broke his collarbone in Sunday's loss to the Vikings, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. "It'll be an extended absence and potentially season-ending," Pelissero adds. Cephus can be dropped in all redraft leagues. Detroit will move forward with WRs Amon-Ra St. Brown, Kalif Raymond, KhaDarel Hodge and Trinity Benson. WR Tyrell Williams (concussion) is eligible to come off IR later this week, although it's unclear if he's ready.
