NEW YORK (AP) Jose Hernandez balked home the go-ahead run in the seventh inning, Jeff McNeil added an RBI double and the New York Mets beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-1 on Tuesday night.Joey Wendle came off the bench and delivered a tying double in the seventh for the Mets, who have won nine of 12 following an 0-5 start to move over .500 for the first time since early June last year. New York came back to beat the Pirates for the second consecutive night and has won four straight series after dropping its first two.Wendle replaced an ailing Brett Baty (left hamstring tightness) at third base in the top of the seventh and doubled off Luis Ortiz (1-1) moments later. That scored Francisco Lindor, who drew a one-out walk from Ortiz and went to third on Pete Alonso's sharp single to center.With two outs and runners at second and third, Hernandez was summoned to face McNeil. The Baltimore Orioles acquired right-handed reliever Yohan Ram rez from the New York Mets for cash considerations, both teams announced Thursday.New York had designated Ram rez for assignment on Monday after adding Cole Sulser to its 40-man roster.Ram rez made headlines early in the season when he was ejected and suspended for throwing a pitch near the head of Milwaukee Brewers slugger Rhys Hoskins on March 30. The incident came one day after Hoskins' hard slide into Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil triggered a brief benches-clearing incident between the clubs.Ram rez claimed postgame that he wasn't throwing at Hoskins intentionally, but MLB still handed him a three-game ban for the incident. After he dropped his appeal, the league reduced his punishment to two games.The 28-year-old adds depth to the Orioles' bullpen, where he could serve as a potential long man and occasional middle reliever.Ram rez owns a lifetime 4.31 ERA and 1.39 WHIP with 134 strikeouts and six saves across 105 big-league appearances, all in relief.
