The New York Yankees are bringing back a familiar face, agreeing to a minor-league deal with veteran infielder Rougned Odor, reports the New York Post's Jon Heyman.Odor's pact reportedly includes an opt-out after July 1.The 30-year-old appeared in 102 games for the Yankees in 2021, slashing .202/.286/.379 with 15 home runs and 39 RBIs. Odor should provide New York with defensive infield depth. He's mostly appeared at second and third base throughout his career, with a small number of reps at first and in the outfield.Odor inked a deal with Japan's Yomiuri Giants in January but requested his release after he was told he'd begin the season in the minors.
